via M5
Travelling south on the M5 leave
at junction 23 and follow A39 signed to Glastonbury
and Wells.
About 7
– 8 miles from the M5
after the village
of Ashcott
look out for a
right turn signed Berhill.
[If you miss
this turning carry on into Street and take the B3151 to
Somerton]
Follow this
road until it
reaches a crossroad with the B3151. Turn right for Somerton.
Pass through Compton Dundon
and then Littleton.
As you approach Somerton you will descend a gentle hill and go under a
railway
bridge, round a right hand bend and over a river bridge (River Cary). There is a turning on the
right to Somerton
village (B3153 to Langport). Do not take this, but continue on the
B3151. The
entrance to Somerton Randle is the first entrance on the left at the
brow of
the hill about 200 yards after this turning (there is a Lodge built in
stone by
the entrance gates).

north on the M5 leave at junction 25 for Taunton and follow signs for
Langport and Somerton.
At
Somerton follow signs for Castle Cary for a short distance and at
T-junction with B3151 turn right. The entrance to Somerton Randle is
the first entrance on the eleft at the brow of the hill about 200 yards
after the T-junction.

and
the South East via M3 and A303
Travelling
west on the M3 leave at junction 8 and follow the A303 towards Andover
and The South West. Remain on A303
for approximately 70 miles. (Total distance from Central London is about 128
miles)
[The A34 also connects with
the A303
south of Oxford and
Newbury and north of Southampton]
At
‘Podimore Roundabout’ take
the A372 towards Langport. [A37 Yeovil to Bristol
road
intersects at this roundabout]
After 1.3
miles turn right on B3151 towards Somerton.
After 2.6
miles a lane into the
town is on the left and the entrance to Somerton Randle is on the right
(there
is a Lodge built in stone by the entrance gates).
About
250 yards before these turnings there is a lane on
the right with signs
to ‘Somerton Randle Farm’.

From Bristol take
the A37 for Shepton Mallet and Yeovil.
From Bath
take the A367 for Radstock and Shepton
Mallet.
From Shepton
Mallet take the A37
for Yeovil and at the traffic light junction with the B3153 in
Lydford-on-Fosse
turn right for Somerton. Proceed to the T-junction with the B3151 and
turn
left.
Immediately
go over a river bridge (River Cary).
There is a turning on the right to Somerton
village (B3153 to Langport). Do
not take
this, but continue on the B3151. The
entrance to Somerton Randle is the first entrance on the left at the
brow of
